A reunion dinner is held on New Year's Eve of the Chinese New Year and family members get together to celebrate. It is also traditional for every family and equally important. No matter how, you gotta go home lolll. So basically Swez Brasserie@ Eastin Hotel is specially for Chinese New Year Promo. Let me take you on a journey to savor in their variety of authentic Eastern Cuisine.

Prosperity Yee Sang Salmon Fish
We started off the meal with Prosperiry Yee Sang Salmon Fish.It was great moments to be with closed friends to “lou sang”. The Yee Sang had abundance of fresh salmon slices, it tasted very good.
Double Boiled Village Chicken with Dried Scallops, Shark’s Fin & Ginseng

This is one of the best shark's fin soup I ever had.They have double boiled village chicken with dried scallop, shark's fin and ginseng which is really so impressive. As compare to the other place, I will rank for them 99 percent. One more percent is because I just drank a bowl which is definitely not enough for me loll.
Duo of Chicken- Crispy Golden Pa Fa & Wok Fried Chicken with Strawberry Sauce
The chef also did well with a new creation by serving two different types of chicken, one with The Pa Fa Chicken slices and another one is wok fried. Thumbs up! The Pa Fa Chicken slices had the texture of almost similar to roasted pork (Swez Brasserie is pork free) with the crunchiness coming from some added almond flakes.
Braised Sea Cucumber with Dried Oyster, Sea Moss, Flower Mushrooms & Broccoli
Whenever I saw broccoli, it remind me about Shelyn because this is her all time favorite. So brocooli= Shelyn, Shelyn= Broccoli. HAHAHAHA! There was also some braised sea cucumber, dried oyster and sea moss added it. The overall dish was filled with unique flavors.
Stir Fried King Prawn Balls with Macadamia nuts
Combination of Stir Fried King Prawn Balls with Macademia nuts! Like what Chinese people used to say:" 色，香，味俱全". It’s another thumbs up for the effort in taste and creativity here.
Steamed Grouper with Chinese Herbs & Vegetables
To further extend my excitement, "Steamed Grouper with Chinese Herbs & Vegetables" was served. This would be one dish that would symbolize the abundance in wealth. I love the fresh texture of the fish plus the sweetness from the added mushroom slices and .
Chef’s Special Yam Rice Wrapped in Lotus Leaves
The lotus leaves infused flavor onto the rice plus some added deep fried yam dices and some added dried ingredients was amazing flavorful to my liking.
Double Boiled Dried Longan & Red Dates with Glutinous Rice Balls
To end the meal with some sweet memories of the occasion, we were served with the Double Boiled Dried Longan & Red Dates with Glutinous Rice Balls (家家慶團圓). The black sesame filled tang yuan (glutinous rice balls) complemented well with the sweetness form the double boiled dried longan and red dates.
