Omg I am finally posting about Edo Ramen today，I've been too busy and all my other friends already did theirs :'( So just a little background before I start. I got invited to Miraku @ G- hotel back in May 2014, and their food are really so good. You can read it HERE. Last week they invited me & Shelyn to Edo Ramen again, tears of joy*

Branching off from Goku Raku Ramen, Edo Ramen which opened on 7 April 2014 at Gurney Paragon, located at ground floor east wing building, right beside Heart & Flour Bakery. Edo Ramen is introducing Tokyo Style Ramen, a unique recipe created by notable raem connoisseur Mr Tetsuya Fukino. You are free to choose from 4 different types of soup & 2 Edo (江戸) is the former name of Tokyo during samurai era.
Edo Ramen has eight types of ramen with its fresh, simply, and tasty menu. All the priced from RM9.90 onwards. The ramen comes with standard and ultimate toppings. Char Siew, sweet corn, Pak Choy and Spring Onion are the standard ramen option, while Char Siew, sweet corn, Pak Choy, seaweed, braised pork belly, JApanese fish cake, lava egg & spring onion are the ultimate ramen option.
Miso comes with pork broth cooked with Japanese soybean paste with creamy texture, it tasted slightly tangy.
The Ultimate Tonkotsu is a thick pork broth boiled over medium to high heat for more than 12 hours with pork bones. The flavorful broth with creamy consistency is full of hearty pork flavor. I love this soup personally, but of course the others are delicious toooo! Especially the coming one, Ultimate black is a highly recommended!
What so special?? The ramen is served with rich pork broth, Japanese fish powder with aromatic charred crushed garlic oil to make the taste stronger! For those ramen lovers, I strongly recommend this is one of the "must try", tantalize your taste buds to another level with the black broth!
Appetizer: Aburi Char Siew at Rm11.90
Boiled Gyoza at RM4.90
Take a closer look!
It comes with boiled or pan fried gyonza. I love the boiled version one idk why! It served with chives and pork filled dumplings, slightly spicy.
Do you think it looks like “Apom" lolll, or only me ?
Fyi this is not our Malaysia" Apom", not a pancake, and it doesn't have a soft, spongy gooey bubbly bum surface like "Apom". It is a Pan Fried Gyoza. In conjunction with their opening, Edo Ramen is now offering a free plate of boiled gyoza with minimum Rm30 spend from 11th April until 31st May 2014.
